First Night in Toddler Bed (3-24-06)

It's been MUCH too long since I've posted and so much has gone on. Friday March 24 was Pj's first night in his toddler bed. I spent the whole evening preparing and trying to get his room toddler proof. I was sure he'd be up all night with his new found freedom! I finally got it ready and laid down with him for about 5 min. He didn't wanna stay down and I didn't want to force him or make him mad. So I got up and just left him in there to play about 8 p.m. I could hear him playing with different toys. I knew exactly where he was in the room by the different noises. By 9 p.m. it was dead silent in there and I went in, very well expecting to find him asleep in the ball pit. To my SHOCK! He was in his bed, head on the pillow, blanket over himself. It was too cute!












The nights after have been a mixed bag. He has slept on the floor RIGHT on the backside of the door twice, and in the crib a couple times. It's still a work in progress but I was so proud of my baby and how well he did the first night in his big boy bed!
